After the fix, my phone now has a blank screen when the screen is off, no screen saver, when I wake the phone, my wallpaper is visible even before I unlock the screen. To clarify, I use the same animated screensaver for my wallpaper and screensaver, this was changing to the defaults for both wallpaper and screensaver. After playing around with settings I think I've come up with a solid solution as I haven't had the issue for over a week now. I first assumed that the bug would be fixed in the first update as I bought the phone at launch but nothing has changed over several months and trying to solve the issue looking through forums, I've found that this seems to affect several different Oneplus devices. Changing back to the default that came with the phone (which is frankly ugly) rather than my Paperland Pro custom wallpaper.
I found that the wallpaper and screensaver were changing, mostly after charging my phone.
